Married Chat City

I notice that there are times my mom gets bored at home. She's not very technology savvy, so I sometimes, I find interesting things for her that she can do online in order to unwind. She enjoys playing puzzles, answering personality quizzes and reading about the news and celebrity gossips.

The other day, I came accross Married Chat City. It's a site where married people from everywhere in the world share their ideas and just have fun.  So, I asked my mom if she wants to try it. Who knows, she might be able to find stay-at-home moms at that Married Chat Rooms, with whom she can relate to when it comes to parenting and things that married people love to talk about about.

Married Chat City can be a good place to start in finding friends online. There's no harm in trying! It's free to join so you've got nothing to lose. You deserve a break so have fun!

Are You a Jerk?

Am I a JERK? Now, why would I admit it? I think even certified jerks won't admit that they are jerks. Well, one of the latest quizzes in blogthings would determine if you are a jerk or not just by answering a few questions. According to the result, I am not a JERK. Actually, sometimes I hate it because I can be too nice.

You Are Not a Jerk

You treat everyone as fairly as possible. You think it's important to be good to people.

You may feel like being rude at times, but you hold back. You are civilized.

While you are considerate, you don't go overboard. You only show others the same respect you'd expect.

Those who want to take advantage of you may accuse you of being a jerk, but in truth, they're the real jerks!

Even though it may sound strange, it's not very rare to find people who had luck in finding a romantic partner online.  There's a lot of dating site online where you can meet a potential partner. Of course, someone has to be extra careful because we can't really tell if the other person is giving you truthful details about himself. Sometimes, the hard part of dating online is that, the other person may be on the other side of the world. This situation makes it harder to see him person as often as we want to. There are complications on dating online but some were able to overcome tha barriers of online dating. I know a few people who are now happily married to someone they met online.

With this information, bloggers and website owners can now benefit from the online dating trend by joining a Dating Affiliate Program such as Affiliate2day.com. Joining does not require any technical knowledge. It's free to join! Define Punk

The picture above shows the punk version of Tinker Bell. Do you think it's cool? You may discuss more about it with fellow punks at Punk Chat City. So how do we define the word "Punk"? According to the Urban Dictionary, PUNK is not definitive. It's is being yourself and not giving any care what people think about you or say about you. It's said to be a way of life, and not just mere fashion taste.

Senior Chat City

Mom paternal grandma, who had been widowed for 13 years now, told me the last time I saw her, that she gets bored a lot these days. That's why she would always visit her children whenever they have time for her.

Since she does not have anything much to do at home, she would always think of a way to go somewhere else and unwind. But she also admitted that she hates travelling and as much as possible, she wanted to stay home.

I suggested that she can keep herself busy by reading books and spending time online to read the latest news and feature stories. She can also find senior people online who can relate with her current situation. I suggested that she visit Senior Chat City. Registering in their Senior Chat Rooms is absolutely free. She can have a nice chat with people her age and maybe talk about the good ol' days. She seem to be interested when I mentioned about the Senior Chat online site.

My Grandma's Birthday

My paternal grandmother's birthday is February 14. Her birthday coincides with Valentine's Day. It's unfortunate that I was not able to visit her but I sent her a birthday greeting. It's a good thing that there are online sites now where you can find nice cards designs and print them. I am referring to netfuncards.com . The site offers free greeting card for different occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduation cards and just about every special event you can think of.

But it's not only on special events that we should send cards to our loved ones. That's why NetFunCards have "Just Because" cards to let them know how much we care for them.

From the creative card designs on NetFunCards, this is what I have chosen to give my grandmother:

Pinoy Fear Factor Winner

The courtship of Marion and Janna was aired tonight. Marion was shown giving Janna flowers and chocolates. The Friday the 13th episode was also a recap of events and stunts that took place. Manuel does not seem to be bitter about the courtship. I don't see any hint of jealousy in him, but others might disagree with my observation.

Who will be the Pino Fear factor Winner? We'll wait and see. As always, I am rooting for Manuel to be the Pinoy Fear Factor winner.

Here's a picture of the Pinoy Fear Factor Final Four:

Work at Home Jobs

It's a reality that the economic situation had affected everyone of us. But of course, instead of just sitting down at home, we can do something about it if we choose to. For instance, some people had earned money from online blogging which helps in paying the bills. If you are looking for more money-making income, you may want to check abc-exchange.com. Their job offer is perfect for stay-at-home moms and even students who can spend over 2-3 hours a day at home.

FedEx Leaves Philippines

Filipino workers are greatly affrected by the worldwide economic crisis.  FedEx, a U.S. courier company had began shedding 800 staff Friday as the company started full operation of a new regional facility in China. FedEx still has a facility in Subic which may close April of this year. The Subic Bay economic and tourism zone has been FedEx' base for almost 14 years.

Last month, Intel Corp. announced that the company decides to shut down its 35-year-old operation in the Philippines. Estimated 1,800 workers lost their job due to this closure.

Autotropolis

We sold our car last year due to some financial difficulties. Recently, we were able to save up to buy another one. But my family is still deciding whether we should get a new car or a used one. A lot of people are buying previously-owned vehicles nowadays due to the economic situation. The primary reason that people are buying used cars is because of their affordability.

When buying a car, someone should not make hasty decisions. The buyer should find out what's wrong with the car before he decides to seal the deal. It is a must to look at the vehicle history report. This would enable you to make a reasonable negotiation with the seller. As expected, there are scam sites everywhere so make sure that you check out only the trusted sites such as Autotropolis.com.

Autotropolis  is an online site where you can find new cars, trucks and SUV's. The site is very easy to navigate. You can easily search for what you need because they give you the option to search by different categories. Autotropolis.com has one of the nation's car largest selections. They have a section for New Autos and Used Autos

Another thing that you have to deal with when buying a used car is the location of the seller. That's why Autotropolis  made it possible for you to search for cars by state. In this way, the results would display cars that are near your location. No one in New York would drive all the way go all the way to California to buy a used car. The site also lets you search used cars by brand.

Given the fact that there are a lot of car brands and models available, I suggest you read Autotropolis's Buying Guide first to help you come up with a sound decision.
