My old blogger friends might be wondering what happened to me. As of the moment, I am not able to go online that much. But I am still alive and kicking! Although there are unfortunate things that happened to me, I am still thankful for the wonderful things that God bestowed my family. So far, my work and my kiddo keeps me busy. Finally, the Rain Stopped

It was raining nonstop yesterday. When I turned on the news, there was flood all over Manila and other provinces. Aside from Metro Manila, 25 other provinces were placed under the state of calamity. I live in Cubao, Quezon City and I felt so lucky that our area was not flooded and we still have power supply.

Other areas were experiencing brownouts aside from the flood. It was just horrible. I remember watching on tv, that Filipina actress Cristine Reyes, who resides in Providence Village, Markina, was seeking for help because the water had reached the second floor of their home. Whether, you are rich or poor, anyone can be affected with calamities such as these.

I woke up today and it seems that the weather is no longer that bad. But of course, it's still very heartbreaking to learn that around 50 people died due to the flood and heavy rain yesterday brought by Tropical Storm "Ondoy". Let's pray for our fellowmen who had been affected with the calamity.

Nap Mat for My Kiddo

My 4-year old son is attending nursery class at a nearby school. Aside from their main activities for that day, their daily routines include individualized instructions, outdoor play, cleaning up, story time, brushing of teeth and also nap time.
